The Moorings, situated in a peaceful setting perched about Matiatia Bay, are twin studio apartments with spectacular views - they really cannot fail to impress! The units are side by side, each with a deck looking across the bay, but they share a large & private courtyard, with outdoor dining furniture and an outdoor fire.

An easy stroll from the ferry, and up to Oneroa Village, this is the prefect base for your break to Waiheke Island.

Each studio consists of an open plan living & bedroom, opening onto a lovely deck with stunning views across the bay. They are stylishly furnished & well set up with a kitchenette & bathroom, wifi & TV.

Accessed through a lovely courtyard, you are completely separate from the rest of the property.

Perched above Matiatia Bay, the property is surrounded by native bush and the humming sound of the bees and cicadas. Directly below the property is Matiatia Ferry Terminal, but exploring either side of this you find beaches, boats, and lovely native bush. You can walk right round the headlands on either side, there are lovely bush walks with magical views and secret bays to discover. These studios are located in close proximity to Mudbrick and Cable Bay Vineyards making this an ideal accommodation choice if you are attending a wedding or event in the area. The main village of Oneroa with many shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants and the white sands of Oneroa Beach are a 15 minute walk or a few stops on the bus.

Each stay incurs a $120 charge for quality linen, towels and exit clean so you have nothing to do but relax, refresh and enjoy.

My wife and I were delighted to stay at The Moorings recently. The two fully equipped Studios, were very tastefully decorated, modern and perfectly clean. Each with its own deck, the views out over the water and back to the lights of Auckland are spectacular. Location is awesome, just steps away from the ferry terminal at Matiatia, yet in a completely private setting with lovely garden. From The Moorings there some some great walks and nearby beaches and it is so easy to catch a taxi or bus...

The deck has spectacular views out over the bay to Auckland city . The shared courtyard area was also lovely.
